The beautiful rice fields around Ubud

Ubud Ricefields - 12

Ubud Rice Fields

Bali is filled with amazing beaches but it’s landscapes are another huge attraction to travelers, with many working rice fields and most of them in the center of the island. Ubud is a wonderful base to explore the region because there’s so much to do,  see and relax in the wonderful spas.

Tegalalang is the most recognizable rice field and to the immediate west and northwest of Ubud are the villages of Penestanan and Campuhan. The area around Ubud a great place to visit when looking for those authentic photos of Bali rice terrace fields to take back to your family and friends.

Furthermore, Ubud is known to have several artistic shops that sell ceramics, paintings, clothing, wood craved furniture and accessories.
