1.  Where would you wake up?

In the My Plus One Studio. It’s in a great location in Neukoelln close to many cool cafés, bars, and restaurants, and has a very design-focused and stylish interior.


2.  Where do you enjoy your favourite breakfast?

Bullys Bakery for it’s great coffee and home made pastries, or Croissenterie or Espera (all in Neukoelln).


3. The best coffee in town is served at…

Five Elephant, Bully’s Bakery or Cuccuma.

4.  What’s your most beloved hidden gem in town?

Lavanderia Vecchia – a charming Italian restaurant hidden in a courtyard in Neukoelln. Lovely staff, and affordable tasty dishes for lunch.


5. I can’t control myself when I go shopping at…

Konk in Mitte for it’s great collection of clothes from many young, up-and-coming German designers. Or the Mauer Park or Boxhagener platz flea markets in the summer.


6.  What’s your favourite lunch spot?

Lavanderia Vecchia for its simple menu, affordable dishes and warm atmosphere.


7.  When in a cultural mood, I go to…

Hamburger Bahnhof for its great exhibitions.

8. What’s your favorite bar for having a drink (or more)?

Nathanja & Heinrich, an un-named bar in Neukoelln with friendly staff and a cool decor.


9. What’s your favourite restaurant?

Maria Mulata for the tasty tapas.


10. Where do you love to go dancing?

Panorama Bar or Ritter Butzke.


11. Where to get the best midnight snack?

Any of the kebab places.


12.  The day after… where to get the best hangover food?

California Breakfast Slam in Neukoelln – it’s only open at the weekends & serves huge American-style breakfast plates.
